ABOUT UNSIQ

Universitas Sains Al-Qur'an (UNSIQ) was founded on the initiative of Al Maghfurlah KH. Muntaka Al Hafidz (Caregiver of the Al Asy'ariyyah Islamic Boarding School in Kalibeber Wonosobo) to create a noble boarding school for the Qur'an. Based on SK. Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 87/D/0/2001 stands for UNSIQ, a university name which means String of Pearls, which is a combination of IIQ (Institute Ilmu Al-Qur'an), Akper IIQ and STIE YPIIQ.

In order to prepare the noble Qur'anic boarding school, UNSIQ implements an education system that combines Islamic boarding school excellence and modern university excellence. So that besides students being taught modern applied science, they are also equipped with Islamic knowledge from Islamic boarding schools.
